This chapter explains the options for exporting the validation results in files. Lists, which are shown by EBSILON®Professional itself, are given in the chapter on screen output under Overview lists.
All validation results can be printed via the normal Interfaces (print, Excel, DLL). Apart from this, there are certain lists, which especially serve the purpose of the output of the validation results. These are normally printed as Excel files.
All reports always refer to the active profile. This is the profile currently active on the monitor screen. It can be different from the profile last calculated.
The results list differs depending upon the validation method selected:
In the Excel Deviation Diagram the relative deviation of the measurement value from the validated value is shown as a bar chart.
Output as text files
For reasons of compatibility, text files can also be generated in the format used by the earlier DOS version of EBSILON®Professional. The layout of the text reports has been kept as the same as of the DOS version, so that the users, who had written programs for processing these lists further, can continue to use it. These lists can be generated only in German and show all values in the standard units (bar, °C, kg/s, kW, kJ/kg.
Users, who prefer outputs in text format, but are not dependent on this form, can generate an Excel report and save this as a text file within Excel. You can also create a text report yourself by using the function writeToFile from EbsScript.
EBSILON®Professional offers two kinds of reports in text format:
