Within the sub-chapter “Display” there are six check boxes:
And the buttons:
If the checkbox ” Round pipeline bendings” is activated, EBSILON®Professional displays round and not angular pipeline bends.

If the checkbox “Show grid lines” is activated EBSILON®Professional displays a grid in the background that is helpful in positioning components, pipelines and other objects exactly. The grid consists of grid points and grid lines. A line is drawn after every tenth point. Note that all connection points of components and all line points (as well as starting points of value crosses) have to be on a grid point. It is not possible to modify the grid itself.
If the checkbox “Show validation weights” is activated, the corresponding weight for validation is displayed on each measured value (component 46) in the model.
If the checkbox “Show signal transformer-factors” is activated, the transformer factor (specification value MUL) is displayed on each signal transformer.
If the checkbox “Use Double-Buffering Technology” is activated, EBSILON®Professional user interface is buffered doubled. This way annoying jerkins of the display are eliminated. (Attention: if display errors are due to the age of the hardware (graphic card) then switch off this function.)
With the checkbox “Animation of Tooltips" you can set the speed of the showing up of tooltips by using the scroll bar on the right side of the checkbox.
The “Precision" button allows you to set the number of decimal digits that are displayed in the value crosses and tool tip displays.
Note that this precision has no influence on the precision of the calculations. To see more digits of the results, you can have a look at the results section of your component or line property sheet.
You can assign different precision to each measure. The default precision is three. To change the assigned precision, click on the field and edit the number. It is also possible to enter the desired number of digits in the field Precision and click on the button ”Set selected” to change to a new precision. This way you can change several measures at the same time (if you marked them before).
Using the “Tooltips” button you can choose which information is displayed in the tooltip window if you move the cursor over a component or row.
You can find more information about tooltips under Tooltips.
Using the “CSS (application wide)" button you can define CSS-commands for the whole application.
