    h,xi-Diagram

The h,xi diagram is available for binary fluids. This diagram is mainly used in refrigeration technology.
Before creating the diagram, a calculation (simulation or validation) has to be carried out.

h,xi diagrams are displayed via the menu entries ”ExtrasàDiagramsàh,xi Diagram...”. Here you have several Options. For the selection, the cursor adopts a special appearance, it is provided with the abbreviations ”Hxi” and ”HxiX” respectively (for component selection: Extended Selection).

The selection of the transitions contained in the diagram can also be  changed subsequently. It is also possible to have several  profiles displayed in the diagram.

The Mollier diagram of the corresponding fluid can be selected and displayed as background image .

In the background image, the curves with the same pressure  (isobars) and with the same temperature (isotherms) are displayed.

The corresponding iso value of the respective curve can be displayed via tooltip by moving the mouse over the curve.

The iso values generated for the respective curves can be manipulated under SettingsàPropertiesàIso-Value.

By default, only the selected transitions are displayed in green. However, it is possible to select the iso curves of the respective fluid as

background imageIn the background image, the blue lines are curves with the same pressure (isobars) and the red ones with the same temperature (isotherms).

The corresponding iso value of the respective curve can be displayed via tooltip by moving the mouse over the curve. The iso values generated for the respective curves can be manipulated under SettingsàPropertiesàIso-Value.

The legends, the colours, and the line thickness of the respective curve can be manipulated under SettingsàPropertiesàCurves.

The following parameters belong to a diagram configuration and are stored
    (see
also "Exchange of Data and Display of Results" à "Creating Diagrams")

    ·        Curve properties: colours, line thicknesses, curve legend for all objects, allocated to profile IDs

    ·        Lists with iso values for the respective isoclines. The size and the content of the respective list specifies how many and which isoclines are drawn

             ·        Curve properties: colours, line thicknesses, curve key for respective iso line types
