Grouping existing objects

You can combine several objects of any type to make a group.

Select the objects you wish to combine.

Thereafter

When you now select one object of the group, the whole group gets selected.

If you have selected a group, you can

• rotate
• cut
• copy
• delete
• mirror        

the group in the same way as you would perform these operations on the individual objects.

To break the group (degroup), select it and

• click the right mouse button and select the entry “Degroup” from the context menu displayed, or
• select the command “EditàDegroup” from the menu bar.

You cannot assign properties to a group.

However, you can access an individual object of a group by a "double-click with the left mouse button". This opens the Properties window of the respective object, on which the mouse pointer is currently present.
