General User Input Values Physics Used Displays Example
For auxiliary constructions, it is often necessary to transmit several or all attributes from one line to another one. In contrast to Component 36 (Value transmitter), which allows to transmit only one quantity, Component 144 is able to transmit all quantities in a component.
The component has one logic inlet and one logic outlet. To transmit values from a source line to a target line, a logic line has to be drawn from the logic inlet that ends somewhere on the source line, and a logic line from the logic outlet that ends somewhere on the target line.
The following flags serve to set which quantities are to be transmitted:
o directly transmitted (1),
o transmitted in such a way that there is the same temperature at Pin 2 as at Pin 1 (2)
o not transmitted at all (0)
However, transmitting the temperature instead of the enthalpy only makes sense if there is a different composition or a different pressure on the target line than on the source line as otherwise in the case of identical temperatures the enthalpies will be identical as well.
Stripes of the respective colour visualize which quantities are transmitted:
In contrast to Component 36, Component 144 only enables a simple transmission (1:1). If it is necessary to consider factors, offsets or characteristic lines or to map different quantities onto each other, Component 36 will have to be used.
