    General

Component 110 is used to model multiple equivalent trains by one train only (e. g. gas turbine power generation trains identical in construction combined with one steam turbine) .

Therefore this component allows for the multiplication or partition of an inlet or outlet stream. It is particularly useful in the case of multi-leg steam and gas plants, when only one leg is to be modelled, but the steam turbine is to be supplied by several legs.

The multiplier or divider is shown in the component.

    In the case of

the value of Q is multiplied or divided.

Because  a specification of a factor 0 was only possible to a limited extent, a flag FSPEC0 has been introduced, which allows to specify if FACT=0  is to be valid (in this case only M1 can be specified) or not (in this case M1 or M2 can be specified).

This component can be used for logic lines as well. The flag FSPECLOG serves to define whether in this case the mass flow or the enthalpy is to be multiplied or splitted.

Previously, FACT was not allowed to be less than 0.001 for FSPEC0 = 1. This restriction has been lifted. However, if FACT = 0, the system automatically switches to FSPEC0 = 2 and issues a warning.

    User Input Values

    FFACT

    Use of FACT

    =0: Multiply flow with FACT

    =1: Divide flow by FACT

    FACT

Mass flow multiplication or division factor, depending on FACT

    FSPECLOG

    Handling of logical pipes

=0: Not usable on logical pipes

    =1: Multiply mass flow

    =2: Multiply enthalpy

    FSPEC0

    Handling of FACT=0

=1: Entry or exit can be specified ,because FACT = 0 is not possible.

=2: Only entry can be given, because FACT = 0 is possible

Generally, all inputs that are visible are required. But, often default values are provided.

For more information on colour of the input fields and their descriptions see Edit Component\Specification values

For more information on design vs. off-design and nominal values see General\Accept Nominal values
