    Value Crosses

Value crosses are a part of your document (or model respectively)

They have no effect on your model or on the calculation results.

They are used to display result or specification values within a document. You can have a look at these values too, if you double click a component or pipeline.

A value cross has to be connected to a stream or component to display values.

If you do not change the default settings, a value cross, which is used to display the values of a stream, shows the four values pressure, temperature, enthalpy and mass flow . These four values are separated by two lines in the form of a cross.

For both streams and components, always the values from the active profile are displayed. If the active profile is changed, the values are then updated.

    The following can be changed:

The content is arranged in a table with two columns. The positioning of the values can be changed by selecting one or more lines and dragging them to the desired position, both within a table and from one table into the other one.
There is a option to select the unit for each individual entry as well as a desired text variant, provided that several text variants exist for the unit. (e.g.  kg/cm2 oder kg/cm²).
New entries can be added by opening a combo box by clicking on the text “Click to insert item…“.
Entries can be removed by means of the “Delete” key.

A combo box  allows output of Material fractions accordance with

    • Mass
    • Mol
    mass (dry)
    mol (dry)

In value crosses, it is possible to use free texts. To use this feature, activate the style “text field” on the sheet “General”. In expressions in such a text field it is possible to use “$” as a shortcut for object that is connected to the value cross (e.g., “$.name” , “$.description”, “$.p”).

See Edit Value Crosses for more information.
