Flue gas - path, design data (heat transfer)

Documentation of the design data (heat transfer) of the components in the flue gas or the air path.

Different parameters are documented here for the components of the flue gas path (see Chapter: Flue Gas-Path, Process Data).

    Comments on the report:

    • K*A is the result value K*A of the calculation.
    • DTM is the mean logarithmic temperature difference.
    • Q-MED is the heat flow rate taken by the medium side (primary flow).
    • Total: K*A is the total of the column k*A.
    • Total: Q-MED is the total of the heat flow rate taken by the medium side (primary flow).
    • For each component, except the Duplex heat exchanger, one line each is printed in the report. Two lines are printed for the Duplex – heat exchanger.

    Generate sub-report

    • Select all components (all heat exchangers) in the flue gas path of the model.
The sequence should be in the direction of flow.
    • Call the dialog box "Modifying Sub-Reports".
    • Select the sub-report "Flue gas - path, design data" and import it in the list of the sub-reports.
    • Enter an extra title, if needed.
    • Select the sub-report for the design data of the flue gas path and then click on the button "Modify" or double-click the sub-report for the design data of the flue-gas path.
The dialog box "Edit Sub-Report" opens.
    • A click on the button "Insert (Sel.)" inserts the components selected earlier in the cycle in the list of the components of the sub-report.
    • Close the dialog box for the list of the components through the button "Close".
    • Close the dialog box for modifying the sub-report through the button "Close".

The components selected earlier are inserted in the sub-protocol in the order, in which they were selected.
