    Pastille, Boundary Value

Documentation of the data of a pastille (component 33 or component 1).

For component 1, the type of the line (fluid type) must be given. For component 33, the type of the pastille depends directly on the type of the line, to which the pastille is assigned.

    Components:

    • Boundary value (1)
    • Start value (33)
    • Control – measurement point (46)

The control measurement point may be used only for entering the reference values:

    Type of the measurement value

    Meaning

    Reference temperature

    Temperature of the ambient air

    Reference pressure

    Pressure of the ambient air

    Air humidity (rel.)

Relative humidity of the ambient air

The format of the sub-report depends on the type of the line, on which the pastille is placed.

    • Line without material data
    • Line with material data
    • Air line with material data

    Line without Material Data

The lines without the material data include water pipes, coolant pipes as well as mechanical shafts or also electrical lines.

In case of these lines, only a short form of the report is printed.

    Example:

    Alstom Plant: KA-24  Unit: 1 R-Date: 21.12.2004 16:51:14

"Start_value_5" is a Start Value Setter (component 33) on a steam pipe. Only the parameters, also specified as defaults in the component, are printed in this line.

"H2O_DAMPF_33" is the name of the pipe, at which the Start Value Setter gives its default values. In this line the parameters are printed, which are calculated on the line.

    Line with Material Data

The documentation is done in two tables. The general data are printed in the first table. The material composition is printed in addition in the second table.

    Example:

    Alstom Plant: KA-24  Unit: 1 R-Date: 21.12.2004 16:51:14

"Gas_Preheater"  is a Start Value Setter (component 33) on a fuel line. Only the parameters, also specified as defaults in the component, are printed in this line.

"BRENNSTOFF__GAS_" is the name of the pipe, at which the Start Value Setter gives its default values. In this line the parameters are printed, which are calculated on the line.

In the second table the material fractions are listed, which were entered in the pastille. The title specifies, whether these are volume or mass fractions. If the pipe is a coal pipe, then the corresponding default type (Raw, WAF, WF or AF) is specified.

The list of material fractions documents only those materials, for which a value has been entered.

Air - Pipe with Material Data

In the protocol Air - Lines, some values of the ambient air are mentioned instead of the power and the net calorific value.

    These include the parameters:

    • Temperature of the ambient air (reference temperature)
    • Pressure of the ambient air (reference pressure)
    • Relative humidity of the ambient air (air humidity, relative)

    Example:

    Alstom Plant: KA-24  Unit: 1 R-Date: 21.12.2004 16:51:14

"LP_OTC"  is a Start Value Setter (component 33) on an air line. Only the parameters, also specified as defaults in the component, are printed in this line.

"LUFT_4_" is the name of the pipe, at which the Start Value Setter gives its default values. In this line the parameters are printed, which are calculated on the line.

In the second table the material fractions are listed, which were entered in the pastille. The title specifies, whether these are volume or mass fractions.

The list of material fractions documents only those materials, for which a value has been entered.

Reference pressure, relative air humidity as well as the reference temperature are normally available in the model only once. If this is the case, then these components need not be included in the list of the components for the sub-report. The components are identified automatically when generating the report and the corresponding values are taken.

If there are multiple specifications in the model, then the component to be used is also to be included in the list.

    Generate sub-report

    • Select one or more pastille in the model
    • Call the dialog box "Modify Sub-Report".
    • Select the sub-report "Pastille, Boundary Value" and import it in the list of the sub-reports.
    • Enter an extra title, if needed.
    • Select the sub-report for the pastille and then click on the button "Modify" or else double-click the sub-report for the pastille.
The dialog box "Edit Sub-Report" opens.
    • A click on the button "Insert (Sel.)" inserts the components selected earlier in the cycle in the list of the components of the sub-report.
    • Close the dialog box for the list of the components through the button "Close".
    • Close the dialog box for modifying the sub-report through the button "Close".
