    Export as XML

EbsXML is a tool that exports data from an EBSILON®Professional-cycle in a XML-file to enable further processing with other appropriate programs.

The resulting XML document contains all data in the cycle in XML-format.

To export model-data into the XML-file, apply the menu command : “FileàExportàEbsXML”. The “EBSILON®Professional in XML-Converter” window appears:

If you do not want to use special settings, you can here simply click on “OK”. The file to be created gets the name and path of the model by default. It contains all objects visible on your display and all values shown on your display in the tooltip windows.

If you would like to change the standard settings, you can

    • specify another path in the “Path of *.htm file” section. Open the file browser to select a path by clicking on the “…” button on the right of the field.
    • choose the profiles to export in the profile-tree
    • activate the check box “export macro content recursively”. In this case all macro data in the cycle are exported.

By default, tooltips are applied the same way in the HTML-Export as shown on the display. Still, you can give a different definition here.

    • Activating the check box “All spec./result values in tooltips” prompts a complete output of all values.
    • By clicking on the button "Tool-Tips" you can choose settings individually for each components.

This tool-tip dialog allows for the specification of settings for every components (the settings are done in the general tooltip dialog by component types). On the left side, you can find a list of objects available in your model. If you select an item, you a list of specifications and result values for this object are shown to the right under “Corresponding values from tooltip-window”. You can activate items in this list that you want to include in the HTML-file. Multiple selection is possible in this list: by clicking with the left mouse button and at the same time pressing the CTRL key you add (or remove) items to (or from) the selection. If you keep the SHIFT key pressed, the whole region from the last to the current selection will be marked.

Use the buttons in the area "Set Standard Tool-tips" to restore the settings only for the selected objects (“Selected objects” button) or for all objects (“All Objects” button). By doing so, the original settings will be restored. The button “Delete All” deletes all values.
