    Auxiliary Load

Documentation of the auxiliary load with the help of the components of the model.

    Components:

    • Boundary value (Component 1)
    • Motor (Component 29)
    • Summarizer (Component 31)
    • Start Value Setter (Component 33)
    • Measurement point (Component 46, Type = Power)
    • Evaporator / Drum Macro (Component 70; Power requirement of the recirculation pump)

    Example:

    Alstom Plant: KA-24  Unit: 1 R-Date: 21.12.2004 16:51:14

Sum of electrical auxiliary load of entire plant

    17682.5

    kW

In order to completely register the electrical auxiliary load of the entire plant, a major part of the electrical auxiliary load must be specified, since this component is not modelled in theEBSILON®Professional–model.

The results of all the values of the electrical auxiliary load calculated by EBSILON®Professional must, therefore, be added to the externally given values of the electrical auxiliary load, in order to get the total value of the electrical auxiliary load of the entire plant.

External powers can also be specified individually and can also be specified via a summarizer as the total power of the auxiliary load.

The powers can also be specified individually via pastilles, whereby each pastille must be placed on a separate electrical line.

    • In case of summarizer, the power on the output line of the component (line 11) is taken.
    • In case of boundary or start value, the value of the electrical line connected with the component is taken.
    • In case of measurement point, the power entered in the component (Type = Power/Heat flow)is taken.

    Generate sub-report

    • Select the components in the model necessary for the calculation.
    • Call the dialog box "Modifying Sub-Reports".
    • Select the sub-report "Auxiliary Load" and import it in the list of the sub-reports.
    • Enter an extra title, if needed.
    • Select the sub-report for the auxiliary load and thereafter click on the button "Modify" or double-click the sub-report for the auxiliary load.
The dialog box "Edit Sub-Report" opens.
    • A click on the button "Insert (Select)" inserts the components selected earlier in the cycle in the list of the components of the sub-report.
    • Close the dialog box for the list of the components through the button "Close".
    • Close the dialog box for modifying the sub-protocol through the button "Close".

The components selected earlier are inserted in the sub-protocol in the order, in which they were selected.
