Edit Field

The edit field is used for creating EbsScripts. The normal Editor-features are available here. Texts can be selected

• with the mouse: click the left mouse button, move the mouse with the left button pressed, release the button. A double-click selects the complete word, a single click to the left of a line selects the entire line.
• by pressing the Shift-key, moving the cursor with the arrow keys and releasing the Shift-key.

Copy the selected text by pressing the key Ctrl+C and insert it at the current cursor position by pressing the key Ctrl+V. Instead of Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, you can also use the menu commands EditàCopy and EditàPaste from the menu bar of the EbsScript Editor window.

With Ctrl+F (EditàFind) you can search for text, with Ctrl+H (EditàReplace) you can replace text.

With Ctrl+Z (EditàUndo) you can undo the last action, and with Ctrl+Y (EditàRedo) you can repeat the last action.

The following colours are shown in the edit field:

• Keywords in blue
• Strings in red
• Constants numeric values in brown
• Comments and characters to be replaced in gray
• Variable names and other code in black
