    General

    With component 37 the main flow 1 and the auxiliary flow 3 are mixed together. The assumption is that there is no throttling of the pressure of the main flow within the component. This means that the pressure of the auxiliary flow is the same as the pressure of the main flow. It is taken from the main flow. So just the enthalpy and the flow rate have to be defined in the auxiliary flow.

    Component 3 is a similar component, but it includes throttling i.e. the pressure of the auxiliary flow must be higher than the pressure of the main flow.

    FSPECX allows defining on which pins a composition is to be specified. However, this flag can only be used if the material equations are integrated into the equation system.

    (Model option -->Simulation --> Iteration, Level of integration of material equations).

    =2:   Pins 2 and (1 or 3) given
    =3:   Pins 3 and (1 or 2) given

    Equations

    All cases

    M2= M1 + M3

    P2 = P1

    H2*M2 = H1*M1 + H3*M3

     T2 = f(P2,H2)

     if line 2 delivers wet steam, then

    X2 = f(P2,H2)

    Q2 = Q1 + Q3

    NCV2 = (NCV1*M1 + NCV3*M3) / M2
