In component 3, the main current is merged with the auxiliary flow. Thereby, the pressure of the auxiliary flow must be higher than that of the main current. It is assumed that in the component the pressure is throttled to that of the main current.
Component 37 is an alternative, but there is no throttling. This means the pressure of the auxiliary flow is the same as the pressure of the main current.
FSPECX allows defining on which pins a composition is to be specified. However, this flag can only be used if the material equations are integrated into the equation system.
