General

This component allows to split a multi-phase mixture into the individual phases. The component features five outlets that are dedicated to one phase in each case:

gaseous phase
lighter (in terms of density) liquid phase
heavier (in terms of density) liquid phase
solid phase
hydrate phase

If only one liquid phase is present, it will be output as heavier liquid phase.

This component can only be used if a universal fluid is connected at the inlet where the TREND or REFPROP library is entered as the only library.

Only in the case of the TREND library are all five phases supported. In the case of all other libraries, only a breakdown into gaseous and heavier liquid phase takes place.
