    Fuel pre-heating

Documentation of the input as well as the output data of fuel pre-heating. The values are taken from the heat-exchanger at the input and the output lines of the fuel respectively .

    Components:

    • Feed Water Pre-heater (10)
    • Gas / Gas Heat-Exchanger (25)
    • After-Cooler (27)
    • Universal Heat-Exchanger (55)
    • ECO / Evaporator / Super-heater; ABB Type (61)
    • Pre-heater (66)
    • ECO / Evaporator / Super-heater; Finned Tubes (73)
    • Comparison measurement point (45)

    Example:

    Alstom Plant: KA-24  Unit: 1 R-Date: 21.12.2004 16:51:14

In the first line, the basic quantities at the primary inlet, and in the second line, the basic quantities at the primary outlet are specified. In addition, the value of the "Net Calorific Value" is also given.

Only the heat exchanger need to be clicked for the sub-report. The heat-exchanger must be connected to the primary inlet or the outlet of a fuel line respectively. The primary line of a heat-exchanger is defined in EBSILON®Professional from connection 1 (primary inlet) to connection 2 (primary outlet).

If the fuel pre-heating is not implemented in the model by a heat-exchanger, then one comparison measurement point each must be set on the fuel line before and after the heating. These comparison measurement points can then be specified for the fuel pre-heating. Thereby, you must be careful of the sequence while selecting:

    • 1. Line 1. Comparison measurement point (before heating)
    • 2. Line 2. Comparison measurement point (after heating)

    Generate sub-report

    • Select the heat exchanger or the comparison measurement point in the model.
    • Call the dialog box "Modifying Sub-Reports".
    • Select the sub-report "Fuel pre-heating" and include it in the list of the sub-reports.
    • Enter an additional title, if needed.
    • Select the sub-report for the fuel-preheating and then click on the button"Modify" or double-click the sub-report for fuel pre-heating.
The dialog box "Edit Sub-Report" opens.
    • Click on the button "Insert (Select)" to insert the components selected earlier in the model in the list of the components of the sub-report.
    • Close the dialog box for the list of the components through the button "Close".
    • Close the dialog box for modifying the sub-report through the button "Close".
