This sub-report documents the general plant data.
The aim of this sub-report is to document the efficiency of the plant. For this, a number of components having fixed values are evaluated. The reference values of the plant are then calculated from these starting values:
Note: the heat flow for the gas turbines at the plant supply-limit must not be equal to the heat flow at the GT-inlet (e.g. fuel pre-heater, gas compressor)
The heat flow is calculated according to the following formula:
with:
M = Mass flow
NCV = calculated net calorific value at a given HU - reference temperature.
HT-Fuel = Enthalpy of the fuel at a given temperature of the fuel
HT reference temperature = Enthalpy of the fuel at the reference temperature for determining the heat value

For determining the plant data, a series of components must be specified (list of the components of the sub-protocol). Different attributes of the components are evaluated depending upon the component type.
The following table shows, which components are included in the evaluation and how these are evaluated:

In case the electrical power is calculated outside of the EBSILON®Professional cycle, it must be specified for the calculation of the plant data. This can be done through a dummy-generator component, in which the power is specified at the electrical output through a pastille.
The generator is included in the list as component. The protocol-program then takes the power on the electrical line.
The generator, in this case, may not be calculated in the cycle:
Generator component Properties Advanced Options Calculation Do not calculate component
A part of the electrical auxiliary load can be calculated via the motors or the power summarizer respectively and via the component 70. In addition, the electrical auxiliary load can also be defined via a separate control measurement point (type = power) (see the table above).
The gross power is the total generator power without deducting the electrical auxiliary load. The gross power, after deduction of the electrical auxiliary load, is the net power of the plant.
