Using the Online Help

How can I get help?

Select one of the following entries:

• “Help →Topics“,

• “Help → Index” or

• “Help → Search”

from the menu bar.

Pressing the key <F1> is the same as selecting “Help → Topics” from the menu bar.

Each of the three entries listed above starts the “EBSILON^®ProfessionalOnline Help” window. The left part of the window is called the “Navigation Pane”. It has three tabs “Content”, “Index” and “Search”. The right part of the window shows the help texts.

If you select the entry “Help → Topics”, the Contents tab  will be activated showing the directory of the Online Help.

If you select the entry “Help → Index”, the Index tab  will be activated showing the list of indices of the Online Help.

If you select the entry “Help → Search” , the Search tab  will be active showing search window of the Online Help.

Some windows of EBSILON^®Professional have a button called “Help”. If you click this button, the “EBSILON^®Professional Online Help” window will be displayed too, showing a corresponding help text. For instance, if you click the "Help" button of a component properties window showing data of a component of type 7 (Steam Turbine Condenser), the subchapter of chapter 4 “COMPONENT 7 : CONDENSER OF A STEAM TURBINE”  will be displayed in the right window.
